A Revamped Cadenza and a Trio of Awards for Kia at the 2020 Chicago Auto Show

It’s that special time of year again when manufacturers introduce their new and revamped models at the Chicago Auto Show! For the 2020 show, Kia came prepared with a refreshed 2020 Cadenza, and they left with three awards! At Steve Landers Kia, we’re especially excited to introduce you to the all-new Kia Cadenza, and we’re here to give you the low down.

The New 2020 Kia Cadenza

Kia launched their new, upgraded model of the Cadenza for 2020! Boasting a complete exterior and interior redesign, new smart technology and improved ergonomics, the 2020 Kia Cadenza offers a premium sedan experience like no other!

Exterior enhancements include:

  •  new lower front fascia with integrated turn signals
  •  a redesigned rear bumper and trunk
  •  new LED combination tail lights
  •  redesigned standard 18-inch or available 19-inch wheels

The interior doesn’t disappoint, either! Interior upgrades include:

  • redesigned dash and instrument clusterStandard 4.2-inch TFT color screen on the instrument panel
  • new 12.3-inch touchscreen with standard multi-device Bluetooth connectivity
  • available Ambient Mood Lighting on the Limited model
  • new Nappa leather-trimmed seat colors: Saddle Brown and Gray
  • new quilted seat bolsters on the Limited model
  • three additional USB charging ports
  • 10-watt wireless fast-charging station
  • standard Smart Key with remote engine start

Also new to 2020 is an enhanced Drive Wise System, Kia’s suite of driver-assistance features. The new standard “Sensor Fusion” combines Forward Collision Warning, Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist with pedestrian detection, Smart Cruise Control with Stop and Go and High Beam Assist. Other standard features include Lane Following Assist, Blind Spot Collision-Avoidance Assist, Lane Change Assist, Highway Driving Assist, Navigation-based Smart Cruise Control, and Safe Exit Assist.

As for the engine of the 2020 Kia Cadenza, it’s powered by the same all-aluminum 3.3-liter V6 paired with an 8-speed electronically-controlled Sportmatic Transmission. New rear sub-frame cross members and resonator wheels help to reduce road noise, redesigned shock valves reduce vibrations, and larger rear dampers improve rebound over rough surfaces for a smoother, more comfortable ride!
